Today’s meeting started with the Treaty of Waitangi and an opening from the Grammarian of the National Anthem
We were all challenged by Mark to learn to dance a series of dances that sounded like exotic dishes from a restaurant.
It was also the first time we saw a speech set to dance moves and music.
Tina introduced us to her grandmother, Clarice, a girl from the country who went to Auckland and met the love of her life, Edward. After that, life was all about family till the day she passed over.
John skilfully intertwined other treaties throughout the meeting such as the treaty of Versaille, Rome, ANZAS and “5 eyes”.
Garry was irritated with freedom campers. However, his questioned this from a different point of view. How do WE solve this issue as a community? How do we provide cheap, affordable facilities for younger travellers?
A great set of table topics this morning: –
Brent told us about his states of mind
Helen wanted the Treaty to be changed
Deb talked about a passport to get into the south island
Patrick recently broke an agreement!
Alan thinks that the moon treaty was set up so we and aliens are covered by OSH up there
