Steven provided a warm welcome to the members and guests then quickly outlined the rules of the contest.

Contest Topic: Does size matter?

With eight keenly, creative capable table topics participants the competition was packed filled with quirky ideas of interest and exceptional moments of unpredictable entertainment.

Natalie Perzylo got into the topic quickly and took the affirmative side suggesting that size does matter especially when you have six dogs living in one house. This topic certainly had the members convinced that canine care is easier in an up-sized house.

Danny de Hek addressed the topic with conviction stating straight up that size matters when it comes to ice cream and then had the audience clearly captivated by the largest ice-cream in the world.

Weighing up her options carefully, Alannah Vickery chose to test our taste buds by discussing the topic in relation to tasty tomatoes. Alana presented a well balance argument suggesting that when it comes to tomatoes the bigger the better, as one cut across a slice of bread is just perfect.

Alana Bogart took a gentle but joyous humanistic approach to the topic reminding us that size does not matter when it comes to people, as we are all made differently in body, brain, heart and dreams.

David Cooper immediately lead this topic into examples of both tall and short people experiencing that potential postural pain in the neck, followed by an excellent message to reminded us all that it is important to have size appreciation in our lives.

Mark Glanville our master of white baiting told a fine fisherman’s tale that had the audience right there ready to eat the nice crispy cooked catch straight off the plate.

Deb McAlpine presented a strong well-structured argument stating from the beginning that one size does not fit all. An excellent cross-section of examples presented in such a short time ranging from: petite to tall ladies through to lamborghini’s and morris minors. Clinically concluded with “things are sized for a reason!”

Final contestant for the day was Brett Snow who also stacked an outstanding range of examples into such a short time frame. Brett touched on 3 important components where size can matter most to everyone: your health, your wealth, but most importantly your family.
